A part of Radio SGC, Jam (aka Julia), is thrilled to get on the radio every chance she can get. Classically trained and a 45’s record salesperson as a teen, she prefers thinking and talking about music to actually performing it herself. Always true to her history degree, she loves building playlists that examine themes, concepts, riffs, or influences as expressed in different genres over time. She loves a good cover, tea, whiskey, her partner Kilovolt with whom she frequently shares the airwaves, and (of course) making jam.
When she is not thinking about music, she works in the scintillating world of municipal social service procurement, where she processes a lot of forms, and is studying to become a certified financial planner. She also has too many cats.
