This special broadcast will be in memory of Heyu Kelley – an amazing person, burner, and friend who is no longer with us. Close friends will call in to share memories and stories. We will also be featuring a special recording from 2018 when Heyu did a live radio show at the Lakes of Fire Great Lakes Regional Burn.

Heyu changed my life. 1000%.
Went with him to Lakes and BRC in 2015. And he stayed with us at our camp, Rust n Dust in 2017.
Loved that man so fucking much, thank you for the show!

Virgin burn was 2011, we were part of the original Ski Patrol and camped with him for a few years. What an original guy! Loved his approach to art at the burn. That first year his project was “The Writes of Pissage”. He and Andy built these stands that they put by the Porto’s, equipped with journal paper and pens. And people wrote the best things in those journals! There will never be another like him.

Certainly and inarguably an unique human. Hard to get my mind around his departure from our shared reality. You don’t make and keep a friend of 52 years very often. Words are patently inadequate, but I’ll still say ’em.Love you buddy. Au revoir but never goodbye.
